While floral prints are not a strange occurrence in menswear, it is a foreign territory for Neil Barrett. The British designer took up the motif for the first time with his spring-summer 2019 collection. He sought to tackle floral prints with a classic sense of masculinity. The results included large floral graphics zapped of color and stamped out on decisively timeless pieces. Embracing a fresh ease, Barrett paraded out blouson jackets, bombers, trench coats, camp-collared shirts, and more. Relaxed proportions and models with wet hairstyles gave the collection a beachy resort vibe. However, the season’s colors painted an urban picture. Brown, blue, black, and yellow made up the collection’s color palette.
