For fall-winter 2021, Prada looks to approach menswear with more intimacy. Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons consider “the individual: the human body, and its freedom.” The designers explore the need to feel as the season takes shape around the idea of dressing the body. Therefore, the Prada man gains a second skin in the form of bodysuits or long johns. Prada’s bodysuit embodies the sensation of touch present in varied jacquards. Meanwhile, oversized layers continue Prada’s textile sensory theme. Bouclé tweeds, leather, nylon, and more contribute to a lineup of knitwear, suits, bombers, coats, and other fall essentials.
