Raf Simons Proposes Lab Style with Spring ’20 Collection

The Fashionisto / Published June 21, 2019

Belgian designer Raf Simons strikes out against the corporate establishment with his spring-summer 2020 men’s collection. Following tenures at Dior and Calvin Klein, the focus is back to his eponymous label, where he has the most freedom to explore personal themes. Parading under the banner of RS-LAB, the season is youthful and relaxed but impactful. Lab coats complete a look of graphic tees and patched shorts with leather boots. Somewhere along the line, rubber gloves and hospital gowns enter the equation. Could Simons picture himself a Victor Frankenstein of sorts?
