Ralph Lauren’s man goes island hopping for spring-summer 2018. The brand’s latest collection debuted during New York Fashion Week. Here, the designer delivered a taste of the tropics juxtaposed with classic nautical style. A vibrant color palette of blue, red, green, and yellow came together for the occasion. Smart double-breasted blazers, pleated chinos, and Breton stripe sweaters stood out in contrast to more relaxed pieces. Relaxed sentiments manifested themselves in bleached denim, tropical print shirts, and espadrilles. Approaching nautical essentials like the dufflecoat and peacoat, Lauren brought his inspiration full circle with a luxurious leather interpretation.
