River Island Does Prep, Manhattan, & Luxe Style for Christmas Collection

The Fashionisto / Published July 18, 2017

River Island unveils its Christmas 2017 collection. The British brand enlists model David Trulik as the face of the season. Front and center, David dons sharp silhouettes, which feature premium fabrics and utilitarian design features. Making an elegant statement with exquisite tailoring and rich colors, River Island easily impresses. The label focuses on three themes for the collection: Prep, Manhattan, and Luxe. Prep showcases muted tones and pops of color for minimal overcoats, flat-washed denim, striped cardigans, varsity hoodies, and more. Meanwhile, Manhattan takes inspiration from the 1940s and focuses on tailoring with a contemporary refinement. Finally, Luxe brings our attention to fabrications with velvet, fine knits, and printed shirts.
