On the heels of unveiling his pre-fall 2018 collection, designer Paul Surridge took to the runway in his new role as Roberto Cavalli’s creative director. Not taking too much of a detour from the house’s opulent nature, Surridge incorporated animal prints into a western-themed collection. Here, leather was an easy standout. Roberto Cavalli’s man embraced the luxurious material in all its glory. Leather suited everything from shirts and pants to coats as well as boots. Bringing his tailored sensibility to the Italian label, Surridge added polished touches such as waistcoats or a classic double-breasted coat with checks.
