Menswear creative director Federico Curradi defines the path for the man of Rochas Homme with his fall-winter 2019 debut. The designer explains, I envisioned the Rochas man as a maker. A builder: of dreams, visions, mind scapes. An artist, projecting his inner self into the outer world.
Finding inspiration in Paris, Curradi instills his designs with a natural elegance. Curradi adds, I am after the nonchalance and the ease of these artists: their forgetful way with getting clothed, their poetry in putting colors and items together are qualities that, to me, are relevant today. I turned such ideas into an informal take on formality, or probably a formal idea of informality. One way or the other, it is the spontaneity of the artist in the act of dressing up that I am hopefully conveying with my debut Rochas collection.
