Anthony Vaccarello makes a simple proposal for his Saint Laurent man. Approaching the fashion house’s spring-summer 2018 collection, Vaccarello does not steer far from the label’s aesthetic established by Hedi Slimane. Saint Laurent’s clothes are essentially for the eternal cool kid. A rock ‘n’ roll vibe flows throughout the lineup with the brand’s best-selling pieces. Svelte models wear black skinny jeans, sheer embellished shirts, and sharp evening jackets. Of course, the lineup wouldn’t be complete without an appearance by the bomber. It’s here that color seeps into the collection with decadent finishes and a spray paint effect. Tapping into a bohemian moment, Vaccarello also explores relaxed draping with oversize proportions.
