Saturdays NYC presents its fall-winter 2018 collection with a new lookbook. The season unfolds as models Phoenix Jakob and Lang Jobe take to the studio. New York City serves as the inspiration of the collection. According to the label, it pays homage to the diaspora communities that are the cornerstone of NYC’s character and finds inspiration in the pragmatic sense of style found within them.
Even, the color palette reflects Manhattan. Light plum, seafoam green, and cobalt blue represent New York’s streets, signs, and marketplaces. A focus is placed on outerwear with the label’s first down jacket, the Silas Puffer. Saturdays also releases a flight jacket, parka, and more. Prints this season include an orchid and lacquer butterfly motif that bring to mind the flower, furniture, and gift shops of New York’s Chinatown. The collection will launch with three drops. The first kicks off worldwide August 3, 2018.
