Tom Ford Tackles Cool City Style for Spring ’20 Collection

The Fashionisto / Published September 10, 2019

On the heels of a lookbook, designer Tom Ford presents a selection from his spring-summer 2020 men’s collection during New York Fashion Week. Ford channels an urban cool for the season, citing references like a 1965 image of Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgwick exiting a New York City subway or the Parisian metro scene of Isabelle Adjani and Christophe Lambert in Luc Besson’s Subway. Ford’s man packs a glamorous punch with colorful monochromatic numbers. Hero pieces include long tailored coats, leather jackets, bombers, and printed tuxedo jackets.
