Pierpaolo Piccioli dreams up out of this world graphics for Valentino’s fall-winter 2019 collection. Piccioli collaborates with Undercover designer Jun Takahashi on unique prints for the season. Images of Edgar Allen Poe come together with spaceships, logos, and more for the outing. As usual, the graphic appeal of the Piccioli’s work dresses up Valentino’s signature fusion of traditional tailoring and streetwear-worthy sportswear. In addition to sharp coats, casual hooded sweatshirts, chunky sweaters, and other must-haves, Piccioli finds room for a partnership with Birkenstock. The Italian designer delivers a luxurious spin on Birkenstock’s timeless sandals in black and red while proposing a pairing of socks.
