We’re living in logo-obsessed times and Valentino does not shy away from catering to the trend. Pierpaolo Piccioli went the way of streetwear for his spring-summer 2019 collection. As usual, vibrant prints and colors took center stage. Revisiting Valentino’s popular scarf prints of the 1970s and 80s, Piccioli repurposed them for a modern camouflage. There’s no shortage of “Valentino” in this collection. The brand is sprawled across everything from shirts and socks to pants. The boldness attracts a younger client and complements the range’s nostalgia for the past with key items like tracksuits, bucket hats, and windbreakers.
