Touching down in New York to showcase Versace’s pre-fall 2019 men’s collection, Donatella Versace embraced the vibrancy of the city with a bold outing. Bringing to mind the famous image of the city that never sleeps, Versace delivered graphic prints and statement leather for the colorful tastemaker. The signature regal prints of the Italian fashion house joined layers of animal prints that dressed airy shirts and oversized suit jackets. Meanwhile, a waxed finish elevated key items such as the leather jacket. As usual, Versace offset the flamboyance of most pieces with sleek tailoring.
