Current/Elliott expands its menswear with a complete fall-winter 2016 collection. A love for vintage denim and California style inspires the outing. Men’s design director, Kirk Von Heifner explains, “California is my home and I grew up as a fan of Nirvana so my deep passion for both will undoubtedly continue to be a great influence for the men’s collection each season. You can expect to see a strong presence of 70s California style woven throughout the line mixed in with nods to 90s grunge.”

Discussing the brand’s evolution in the men’s arena, CEO, Jack Schwefel shares, “We are very excited for the launch of our men’s line. It is a natural progression as Current/Elliott has always been a fashion brand inspired by iconic men’s silhouettes. Kirk has worked with the entire design team to create a synergy and make our long time vision a reality.”
Available online on CurrentElliott.com, the brand’s Venice store, and via select retailers, the new collection channels an eclectic energy. Bringing to mind Topanga Canyon during the 1960s and 70s, a commune of surfers, artists, and musicians inspire as style muses. A relaxed Californian aesthetic is present with a range of denim styles, accented by plaid button down shirts, classic fit pocket tees, and reversible jackets.
