Daniel Bruhl for Zoo–Zoo magazine revisits Berlin for its forty-five anniversary issue. Connecting with actor Daniel Bruhl for one of its three cover stories, photographer Bryan Adams proposes a cinematic narrative. Sporting tailored pieces from BOSS by Hugo Boss, Antony Morato, Bally and more, the Barcelona born actor is a dapper man of style. Talking to Adams about how the city of Berlin has inspired him, Bruhl shares, “I’ve traveled a lot these last couple of years and I have to say that I’m always very happy to come back to Berlin. I fell in love with this city in 2001 when I shot Goodbye Lenin, which is a film about Berlin. I immediately fell in love with energy-I moved to Prenzlauerberg in 2001 and have lived there ever since. It’s an inspiring place-it’s a vibrant place. Artists from all over the world come and live here. It’s an affordable city in comparison to others. There’s a lot to discover because it’s so spacious. You always find-even I do-that you keep discovering new corners, new places, streets, clubs, venues, whatever, that you didn’t know before.”
