Victoria’s Secret PINK has made headlines by announcing its first male brand ambassador Darren Barnet. Today, VS PINK is one of several companies breaking away from the usual with a gender-free range. As a result, there has never been a better time to hire a male brand ambassador. Barnet, best known for playing Paxton Hall-Yoshida in Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever,” takes the role.
Darren Barnett for Victoria’s Secret PINK
Darren Barnet partners with Victoria’s Secret PINK to promote the brand’s all-inclusive gender-free line. VS PINK is synonymous with attractive casual apparel that is youthful and on-trend. The new collection includes tees, shorts, matching sweat sets, and other items.
Actor Darren Barnet highlights VS PINK’s gender-neutral line while also garnering attention for the brand’s many causes. Barnett will model the range and participate in brand initiatives such as the PINK with Purpose Project to raise awareness, understanding, and compassion for mental health issues.
“Filming ‘Never Have I Ever’ definitely brings me back to my high school days and reminds me of the insecurities and issues that we face as young adults,” Barnet says. “I know how it feels to not fit in, and how important it is to feel supported and accepted for who you are.” The 31-year-old actor continues, “I love the work that PINK is doing–especially their focus on community and mental health–so I’m really honored to be a part of this team.”
“We are so excited to announce this partnership because Darren is such a positive role model for teens and young adults,” shares VS PINK CEO Amy Hauk. “As we focus on expanding our gender-free offerings and continue to evolve as a brand, we want to ensure our partners not only represent the diversity of our customers but also embody individuality and self-confidence.”
