British GQ features David Beckham once more with the star gracing the cover of the magazine’s March 2016 issue. Spotlighting Beckham’s photo shoots throughout the years, five special edition covers are provided with images by Nadav Kander, Inez & Vinoodh, Vincent Peters and Marc Hom. The cover story brings attention to an exhibition at London’s Phillips Galleries, where portraits of Beckham are being auctioned off to support The David Beckham UNICEF Fund.
Discussing Beckham’s new story, British GQ editor Dylan Jones shares, “As for this special issue, when we saw the scale of the project at Phillips and the wealth of images being auctioned–including some iconic ones that had been shot for us at GQ–we couldn’t wait to get involved.” Jones continues, “David Beckham really has a golden aura about him these days, a star quality burnished by a dedication to self-improvement, a savvy series of brand endorsements and the not inconsiderable fact that the public as a whole appear to have taken him to their hearts.”
