London Evening–American designer Tommy Hilfiger and Condé Nast International chairman and chief executive Jonathan Newhouse came together to host a dinner yesterday in celebration of the third season of London Collections: Men. Among the guests for the evening were model David Gandy, presenter Dermot O’Leary and music artist Tinie Tempah. While in town, Hilfiger also paid a visit to the recently opened Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design. The first international designer to present at the college, Hilfiger spoke to a group of students about his experiences, adding “I am delighted to be back in London to celebrate London Collections: Men. It’s an honor to be able to support and celebrate the incredible talents in menswear design. I also feel privileged to have been invited to the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design to speak with students. My own experiences at the beginning of my career inspired my commitment to mentoring young people who are dedicated to pursuing their dreams.”
