Simon Spurr
Simon Spurr was born in Kent, England in 1974. He studied in London and graduated from Middlesex University in 1996 with a B.A. in Men’s Fashion Design. Soon after graduating, Spurr was hired to design menswear for Saint Laurent, working under the close guidance of Hedi Slimane. In 2001, Spurr was recruited to New York City to serve as head Menswear Designer for CK Calvin Klein, and in 2003 he became Design Director for Ralph Lauren Purple Label and Ralph Lauren Black Label.
In the Fall of 2006, Spurr launched his eponymous menswear line, SPURR, with three distinct styles of American-made selvage jeans. Over the course of 2007, the range was expanded to include sportswear, suiting, and accessories, quickly establishing SPURR as a full lifestyle brand. In 2009, the brand was broadened once again with the creation and development of SIMON SPURR, a designer collection which paralleled and complemented the newly-contemporized SPURR.
In 2017, ISAIA Group announced the appointment of Simon Spurr as Creative Director of EIDOS, to elevate the brand with a more polished aesthetic. Simon Spurr’s first EIDOS collection will be for Fall/Winter 18/19.
