Diesel Black Gold has a little fun with its latest outing, entitling its fall-winter 2017 men’s collection, Urban Ninja. The brand’s creative director, Andreas Melbostad looks to the uniforms of Japanese ninjas to serve as a blueprint in reworking Diesel Black Gold staples.

Drawn to a black color palette with hints of grey, the lineup features wrapped hero pieces, modeled after the kimono. Nylon bomber jackets and leather tunics contribute to the collection’s standouts. Approaching denim for the season, patchwork comes into play with a mix of fabrics and embroideries. Nina-inspired boots round out the dark outing.
