Wardrobe staples take center stage for Diesel Black Gold’s resort 2017 collection. Creative director Andreas Melbostad pays an homage to the nineties with utilitarian hybrids for the season. Bombers, denim jackets, shirts and parkas are remixed for fresh outerwear designs. Embracing oversized proportions, parachute trousers are a collection standout in nylon.

The statement piece is also accompanied by wide-legged five pocket pants, cut from bonded trench fabric. Tapping into a military aesthetic, Melbostad dreams up a desert-storm inspired moment with leather and canvas combat boots. Zippered sweatshirts, high-top sneakers and nylon backpacks round out the urban outing.
