Retro at Heart–For their latest collection, Diesel Black Gold appeared to have raided the vintage store in search for hip garbs, ready to be reworked for 2013. Indie band appropriate, the collection was definitely aimed at being for that appropriately cool kid. Suits were dark, checked and pre-wrinkled, fit loose for an aesthetic that was anything but stuffy. Mustard yellow was the season’s notable color, while the uniform became of the short variety with coordinating jackets resulting in clean ensembles. Meanwhile, stripes boasted a timeless charm, dressing jackets, trousers and other pieces for the perfect hard-edged finish to a cohesive outing.
