No stranger to world travels, Dior Homme recently traveled to Japan to celebrate the opening of its most recent store in the Ginza district of Tokyo. The event was marked with a presentation of the brand’s pre-fall 2017 collection. Delivering a graphic punch for the season, creative director Kris Van Assche has fun with the theme, Newave.

Here, Dior’s signature tailored lines collide with a rebellious energy. A prominent color palette of black and white dress a mix of sartorial and street-worthy numbers. A longtime collaborator of the brand, photographer Alessio Bolzoni captures the presentation. Details stand out with scribble threads, embroidered finishes, knits, appliqués, and patchwork.
