Dior Homme unveils a new spring 2017 capsule collection, entitled Black Carpet. The range features formal ready to wear, designed by the label’s creative director, Kris Van Assche. The Belgian designer explains, “The idea of the black carpet was to convey the energy and rebel attitude of the runway collection on a capsule collection of eveningwear.” He also adds that the collection plays “with the embellishment codes and the know-how of Dior.” In effect, it reworks “the evening suit by pushing it in more extreme interpretations.”
