Fashion Meets Art–In the creative industries, the boundaries between fashion and art are not always so clean-cut. In this instance, Dior Homme embraced the dynamic relationships between art and fashion, unveiling a collaborative project with two artists for their stores in Los Angeles and New York. Both chosen artists, Matt Keegan and Aaron Curry, worked closely with the brand along with creative director Kris Van Assche to conceptualize an interior exhibition that incorporates the essence of Dior as well as the surrounding urban environment. Matt Keegan collaborated with the New York store, basing the installation around the idea of the American vernacular and language. Aaron Curry worked within the Los Angeles store, inspired by the car culture that is so integral to the city. These two site-specific art installations are the beginnings of an ongoing collaborative effort with select Dior Homme stores.
