Dior Homme Fall/Winter 2014–Manipulating a formal attitude for the man who knows how to dress to the nines, but also values confident casual essentials, Dior Homme creative director Kris Van Assche sent a well-rounded fall/winter 2014 collection down the runway. With sprigs of Lily of the Valley worn in suit pockets, later to become a significant graphic, pinstripes dressed the season’s initial tailored selection, transitioning into a fun divergence of polka dots. Introducing fur in the form of outerwear, a luxe element was upset by the use of denim, reinterpreting classic items such as the duffle coat. Mixing in more casual garments such as a field jacket or distressed sweatshirt, Van Assche cemented a smart collection.
