Leather & Flowers-Perfumer François Demachy is the nose behind Dior’s newest unisex fragrance, named Cuir Cannage, and included into the label’s exclusive La Collection Privée, which is the equivalent of a Dior’s haute couture creation. The starting point of the new scent is the essence of leather, which represents a classic in perfumery, but for the occasion is reinterpreted in a more modern way. The idea behind the fragrance is in fact the one to translate into a perfume the scent of a leather bag, whit its accords of leather, tobacco and creamy tones. Built around the warm and rich essence of leather, Cuir Cannage unveils a sophisticated structure, where floral notes lend to the whole composition a gentle touch of seduction. Orange blossom, jasmine and ylang-ylang intertwine with woody notes od birch creating a scent with a strong charisma.
