Dior Men’s artistic director Kim Jones delivers another colorful season for the French label. The vibrant work of American painter Kenny Scharf is front and center for Dior Men’s pre-fall 2021 collection. Scharf’s work makes an impression on everything from jackets and bags to shirts. “Bringing Kenny Scharf’s out-of-this-world universe to life via Rafael’s photography this season was a moment of optimism in challenging times,” says Jones. “These images represent the hope of returning to reality in a not-so-distant future.” Dior Men’s pre-fall 2021 campaign fully realizes Jones’s homage to Scharf. Rafael Pavarotti joins creative forces with stylist Melanie Ward to photograph the advertisement. Pavarotti captures models Issa Naciri, Ibrahim Mohamed, Thatcher Thornton, and Woosang Kim.
