Devotion–Utilizing Sicilian men as their models once more this season, Dolce & Gabbana took to the runway with a seasoned collection. Devoted to the art of tailoring, cut, fabrics and details, Dolce & Gabbana’s men of the hour charmed their way down the catwalk accompanied by Nino Rota’s music from Federico Fellini’s The Road. Reflecting values of family, religion and love, the collection exuded the fashion house’s penchant for elegance with a grounded quality. Oversized t-shirts produced in silk and printed with flowers made for a spectacular foil to black coats of velvet and cashmere. Dressing garments with images of religious icons, the season’s motif added a unique quality to a fine production of Italian tailoring rounded out by shoes of velvet and leather.
