eBay’s Designer Collective–In efforts to become more than just that auction site, eBay has launched Designer Collective, a full-price shopping website that includes the latest items from fashion labels such as Billy Reid and Calvin Klein. Talking to WWD, eBay Marketplaces president Devin Wenig explains that Designer Collective “fits with our philosophy — as partner and an enabler of brands, and not a competitor. We’re transaction-based. We only succeed if our partners succeed.”
