WSJ. Magazine explores the power of tailoring and transformation to suit the individual with its men’s style issue. As a result, Sean O’Pry stars in a story entitled “Why You’ll Always Need a Suit.” Front and center, the top American model appears in stunning black and white images. Ethan James Green photographs Sean for a transformative outing that plays with proportions and how we wear clothes.

Stylist Dara Allen inspires by piecing together men’s tailoring from brands like Dior Men, Valentino, and Ann Demeulemeester in an exciting fashion. “I imagined the gesture of somebody changing and the way clothes fold and distort when they’re being put on or taken off,” says Allen. “Thinking about that as a way to reveal or hide skin was a fun way to approach suiting without feeling too formal or stiff.”
