Menswear gets the Emilio Pucci treatment as Orlebar Brown collaborates with the label for a new collection. Featuring its speciality–swimwear with a select offering of tops, Orlebar Brown revisits the Emilio Pucci archives for intricate prints to decorate the lineup. Prints from the late 1960s and 70s offer a fun approach to the season.
Talking about the outing, Emilio Pucci CEO Laudomia Pucci shares, “My father was the first designer to do resort wear, but a lot of people don’t realize that he had a great menswear following in this category back in the 1970s. It’s a perfect time for us to return to that sunny men’s segment and we’ve found the perfect partner in Orlebar Brown. They are just as obsessed with colour, fit and quality as we are.”
Orlebar Brown founder adds, “Some prints date. A Pucci print never does. In fact, this collaboration is very much of the moment – print has moved from being quintessentially a female staple to becoming an accepted part of the stylish man’s wardrobe. We’re delighted to continue to play our part in that transformation and to push the boundaries within men’s fashion.” The collection is available for purchase on both EmilioPucci.com and OrlebarBrown.com.
