Shades of Grey: Emporio Armani updates its tailoring with modern proportions.

The Italian cornerstone for essential men’s tailoring, Giorgio Armani looked to the digital generation for the inspiration of Emporio Armani’s fall-winter 2016 collection. Imagining an urban setting, innovation was front and center with modern constructions of tailored menswear. Bonded with leather or finished with insulated strips, denim was revisited. Juxtaposed with Prince of Wales checks, denim showed the perfect marriage of sportswear and tailoring.

Dressed in stone grey, deep blue and forest green, Armani’s wardrobe included long and shorts jackets, tube trousers and tops that featured military braiding. Leather appliqués were applied to shirts and sweaters for a subtle update. Unveiling looks from EA7, skiwear was presented, making a splash with graphic prints and eye-catching silver.
