If Fashionista’s scoop means anything, it could be the end of the road for Scott Sternberg’s Band of Outsiders. On the heels of its 10th anniversary, it is reported that the majority of the brand’s staff have been laid-off and fall’s wholesale orders have been cancelled. Fashionista alleges that “The brand was low on funds and chose not to produce its next collection. Among those to leave within the last month include Nicole Cari, who was with the Los Angeles-based company from 2008 on as its vice president of marketing and communications.”
