T Magazine Singapore celebrates Alessandro Sartori’s return to Ermenegildo Zegna with an August 2017 cover story. Suzie & Léo photograph the designer as well as model Niels Trispel. Reuniting with the Italian fashion house after a stint for Berluti, Sartori takes the helm as artistic director.

Sartori talks to the magazine about his approach to working with a storied label. He shares, “What’s really interesting in this work is that the [concept of] heritage, that companies now are stressing and stretching and using, it needs to be true, to be real, and to be beautiful.” The designer continues, “And what’s really beautiful here [at Zegna], is a company born in 1910, 107 years ago, and during its long life, so many things have happened.”
