Ermenegildo Zegna Couture embraces tonal patterns and prints for its fall-winter 2016 collection.

Sending its models down the catwalk with look numbers, Ermenegildo Zegna Couture channeled an Haute Couture tradition. Creative director Stefano Pilati aimed to visit menswear classics with a sense of embellishment for his fall-winter 2016 collection. Taking a clear, decided approach to the season at heart, Pilati unveiled a range that brought together a chic wardrobe of Lanificio Zegna wools, woven patchwork and stylish jacquard finishes. Continuing a relaxed notion of tailoring, oversized coats were shown alongside embellished knit sweaters, billowing trousers and statement capes. Adhering to the season’s trends, a reversed shearling coat was a standout of the collection.
