The Italian–Taking the path all-to familiar yet beautifully executed regardless, Ermenegildo Zegna’s spring/summer 2013 collection took shape around the idea of a holiday getaway. Creating the new collection with their Italian man in mind, pieces came together with color and fit dictated by the sartorial whims of a refined fashion palette. Illustrating an exquisite richness, silk was the ultimate fabrication as suiting was interpreted for the warmer season. With a subtle leaf print as the season’s charming accessory, a palette of smooth browns was opened up to burgundy and teal for a lineup that exuded a certain lightness and nevertheless, the heritage of Ermenegildo Zegna–smart tailoring, but cut for the modern age, including tapered pleated trousers, fitted jackets, relaxed polo shirts and great outerwear.
This designer has something. Love the fabric.
“New interpretation of silk”, bravo!
