Surrealism meets the digital age when photographer Steven Chu tackles the issue of procreation in the future. Casting Yuri Pleskun and Nicole Erber as a couple of tomorrow, the norm evolves and a little baby dust goes a long way.
After working with Yuri for last season’s Rad Hourani runway show, stylist Marc Sifuentes had nothing but great things to say about the experience and was thrilled to work with him again for Steven Chu’s latest editorial. Chu recalls not knowing much about Yuri before the shoot, but walked away with compliments, expressing, “Yuri is awesome and I would hands down cast him for another photoshoot – maybe because he’s a pretty seasoned model now, he’s completely comfortable in front of the camera and you can easily capture what you want from him. You know what’s great though- is that his outtakes of funny faces when he’s goofing around on test shots are so good on their own, you could make a whole shoot out of them!”
