It seems like just yesterday that Misa Patinszki burst on the scene. Budapest-based agency Wam Models discovered the Hungarian model at a local bus station, and the rest is history. Nearing a decade in the industry and working with impressive clients, such as Dolce & Gabbana, Dsquared2, and Jean Paul Gaultier, the 29-year-old model, is beginning a new chapter in his life as a father. “Even if this is a year that goes to history as a year of COVID, for me, this one is the most amazing as my baby girl was born on the first of September,” shares Misa. “Words can’t describe how I feel and how happy and blessed I am.”
While the global pandemic has put a hamper on the typical world travels, that hasn’t stopped Misa from perfecting his craft. The Hungarian model recently linked up with photographer Mate Gregus, with who he’s worked with before. Having known Gregus for years, Misa explains, “He was talented from the beginning. Now, he has become this amazing photographer who is easy to shoot with.” Slipping into Hugo Boss pants and a vintage floral print suit jacket, Misa is a natural in front of the camera.
Misa looks forward to getting back to work soon. He recalls before COVID-19 dominated the headlines. “When pre-COVID came, we didn’t take it seriously until it hit Italy. I came back from Milan Fashion Week a week before the main COVID wave reached Italy.” The top model continues, “Now, as well all feel the effect of COVID-19, we try to live with it as best as we can with traveling conditions changing, but we are optimistic. I received a very promising option from Paris last week.”
