Diego Zuñiga is an up and coming 22 year old designer from Mexico. For his fall 2009 collection, he was inspired by the Greek term «τεκτων», which means builder or architect. Moved to replicate the idea of constructing architecture, Zuñiga was drawn to a concrete colored palette resulting in the prominent use of black, blue, white and gray. Working as master architect, Zuñiga drew upon on a dominant look that blends sporty and chic elements with futuristic construction. The result is subtle deviations on a well-rounded concept that is made complete with Zuñiga’s personable nerd glasses.
