Having worked with designer Gareth Pugh and inspired by unorthodox materials, it is no surprise that Gemma Slack’s venture into menswear disrupts the norm. The London-based designer reveals a provocative collection of midriff baring tops that rebel against the season’s cold. While slim pants may require careful calorie counting, somewhat normal garments find themselves pulled into Slack’s world with a subtle leather trim that strangely enough adds a soft touch. Altogether, a little challenging, but easier to dissect as the result of art inspired fashion, Gemma Slack’s adventure into menswear provides another outlet for that special daredevil.
