Heading into its sophomore season under new creative direction, MB999 frames the fall season with a significant turning point in history. Inspired by the Great Depression, somber colors and practical pieces are married to MB999’s edgy aesthetic. Balancing generally fitted silhouettes with relaxed outerwear, leather finds itself used in rare form–largely as trim. Crossing the fallen hero with an imagined airplane pilot, caps and the idea of flight lend a dark collection a little lightness.
