The inspiration for the latest collection from S2VS came to designer Sean William Salim during a trip to China. In search of quality production, Salim could not help but notice the style of the individuals he came across. Whereas a great deal of youth in big cities were toting their Louis Vuitton bags with sweats, the older generation living in the countryside exhibited a natural sophistication, reinforced by great tailoring and color coordination. Embracing a somber color palette accented by bright splashes of green and blue, Salim crafted fall’s collection, hoping to capture the charm of a humble, well-worn wardrobe. From modest knits and tailored outerwear to clean silhouettes, the S2VS man benefits from a laid-back charm and certain confidence.
