Balenciaga is a French fashion house, which was founded by Cristóbal Balenciaga. The Spanish designer established the label in 1919 and was known for his modern silhouettes and unique flair for style. In October 2015, Balenciaga announced the appointment of designer Demna Gvasalia as creative director. At the helm of the brand, Gvasalia celebrates the fashion house’s forward thinking approach to silhouettes.
