Dsquared2
Dsquared2 is the fashion house helmed by twin brothers Dan and Dean Caten. Originally from Toronto, Ontario, the designers launched their first womenswear in 1986 under the name DEanDAN. After working for Ports International and Tabi International, the Caten brothers moved to Milan, Italy. There, they worked for Gianni Versace and Diesel.
With the help of Diesel, the pair launched their own brand, Dsquared2. The brand showed its first menswear in 1994. The Caten brothers are known for their campy, over-the-top flair. This results in Dsquared2’s signature distressed denim, often paired with witty t-shirts and statement pieces. For spring-summer 2017, Dsquared2 even placed models in platform boots.
