Lanvin
Lanvin is a French fashion house. Jeanne Lanvin founded the label in 1889. Originally a couture brand, which catered to wealthy clientele, Lanvin expanded to home decor, menswear, and more by the 1920s. In a modern context, Lanvin menswear has been shaped by designer Lucas Ossendrijver.
He began his collaboration with the French fashion house in 2006. Ossendrijver’s view of the Lanvin man modernizes tailoring, but footwear is also a popular commodity for the label. Lanvin is known for its use of luxurious materials such as suede and leather.
