Ray-Ban
Ray-Ban is an eyewear brand, which was founded in 1937 by American company, Bausch & Lomb. The label started out as a solution to a problem posed by US Army Air Corps Lieutenant General John MacCready in 1929. The general sought eyewear for pilots to wear, which were anti-glare. Bausch & Lomb created the Aviator and the rest is history. Sold to the Italian company Luxottica Group in 1999, Ray-Ban is known for its signature Wayfarer and Aviator sunglasses.
