Australian designers Kain Picken and Fiona Lau come together for a collaborative effort that began in Berlin in 2008 and has since taken the duo to Shenzhen, China, where they are currently based. Working under the namesake Ffixxed, fall’s collection entitled We Are Building a Civilized Space Here commemorates the duo’s new roots in China. Aiming to occupy an overlapping space of work and play, the range fuses details with function for an all-encompassing look that is as fashion-forward as it is everyday practical.
