Mappings of Danxia–Krane looks to the Danxia mountains in southeast China for the inspiration of their spring/summer 2014 collection. Moved by the mountains’ hues that are the result of erosion and environmental uplift, Krane infuses their signature accessories with a certain flare, offering soft suedes and exotic leathers, complete with refined mechanical hardware. Spotlighting the new collection, Krane enlisted photographer McKenzie James to shoot Elite model Liam Hickey. Juxtaposing images of Liam and their spring collection with architectural fragments, Ron Wan designed Krane’s lookbook to coincide with the season’s inspiration. / Production by Jessica Tjeng.
