The Convention of Dressing Normal
GAP champions normal dress with its fall 2014 campaign that boasts the tag line ‘Dress Normal’. GAP Global Chief Marketing Officer Seth Farbman explains, “Finding your own version of ‘dress normal’ is an art – my normal is different from your normal, and that’s the essence of the campaign. This fall, GAP celebrates dressing for yourself and finding those perfect items-a pair of jeans, a t-shirt-that make you feel confident to be your most authentic self.” For the initial campaign images of the season, GAP has enlisted actors Michael K. Williams and Luke Grimes. Both actors appear in stylized images that represent everyday settings and a casual attitude. Wearing essentials from GAP’s fall 2014 offering, Williams also appears in an image with actress Anjelica Huston.
